Hi   Dan,
copied this from another post, I didn't want to hijack the other post.

"This synth is completely integrated in vArranger and has not be created to be an external MIDI sound module
vArranger can play midifiles and record WAV FLAC or MP3"

Still deciding which way to go, ie keep my keyboard or get the sound banks.

So basically, if I wanted to do a backing track using Song Chord function,
I'd record in Song Chord,
then save as a midi file?   Can a midi file be edited in VArranger or would I need to  edit it in another sequencer? then load it back into VArranger.
From there can the midi file be recorded as an mp3 or wav using your sound bank?

Btw, I need to get an update, my software  is vers.17.  I sent a message earlier this morning, not sure if it went thru, so just in case, I  know I need to join up to get the latest updates, so if you can let me know what to do , be great.

Dan

Hello Rikki,

I did not get your other message.
Yes, You can edit the mixer things in vArranger, but not the notes. You need an eternal sequencer for this.
Then you can play the midifile in vArranger and record it in WAV MP3

Note this update includes what you asked few years ago about arpeggios having nice transpose rules on Yamaha styles :)

Thanks Dan,
found it. Just subscribed.  Look forward to trying it again. Sold 3 of my keyboards, only one to go, so if this works for me , it will just be my piano and VArranger for backing tracks.

Thanks Dan

Dan

Great ! Just sent you the update
