I am still having issues with Drums not sounding on SD4.

Regardless if I use Output 1 or Output 2 - SD4 or MIDI2 I cannot get drums to SD4 module.

Anybody else have this issue, then I know whether it is SD4 or not.

1) the problem is only with yamaha styles?

2) the problem occurs with the SD2?

3) try using the SD4 with midi cables not usb. try the 2 Midi inputs, in MID mode.

Problem is also on Ketron styles,

Ok, tests done.
It appears that the USB cable is not good for SD4 playback

I used same midi cable for SD2 (Which is USB to Midi 5 PIN) and SD4 works good, including drum channel.

I tried the SD4 in MID vArrangeur on 2 inputs, one for support and the other right hand no problem.

Eureka, can you try the yamaha styles, because they use 2 drum kits, and not live drums on your SD4

- Mode MAS on USB port 2
- Mode MID on USB port 1
- Mode MID on USB port 2

Lionel, what is your SD4 version ? (press 0 while powering the unit)

No problems  with the 2 drums kit (Yamaha style) with a battery and a midifile on voice or 2 on midifile voice.Juste avoided or put a track on voice and midifile same time it's not a perfect product .

As tu fais les essais demandés avec le même style Yamaha suivant les 3 modes de fonctionnements (MAS + port 2(= Périphérique USB n°2), MID + port 1(Périphérique USB n°1), MID + port 2)?

Bon alors 1er test
MAS+port2 (USB > selection  [2] qui correspond à voice ) => pas de son
les 2 autres tests avec MID sont OK ,port 1 ou 2 ou les 2.
Ça te convient ?

Ah ok, je voulais dire mode MAS mais bien l'entrée midi GM (16 canaux) pas voice.

Et pour les tests, essayer 2 styles Yamaha l'un après l'autre, ou enchainer Style Ketron-> Style Yamaha ->style ketron ...

Je viens de testé un enchainement styles yamaha et ketron en mode MID (SD4) avec les drums et main droite sur les voices et midifile avec le reste des canaux donc en mode 32 canaux et pas de problèmes ni en style yamaha ni en style ketron.
Je l'ai pourtant bien bousculé avec en plus des changements de sortie midi pour chaque styles mais il reste stable.
