Hello,

my name is Jörg. I'm a VA2 user since this summer.
Until now, it was possible for me to solve all my little problems.
But now, I have to ask here.

Short description.
I try to start a 64 Bit Halion SE2 VST-plugin (from Cubase AI 8 paket) on a Win 10 Pro system.
The plugin is loading - I see Halion SE in the VST-List, but if I click on the name - nothing happens.
When I  open the Options (+), there are no parameters in the list.
Other plugins I tested are working fine, for example TyrellN6.

Cubase ist installed (64 Bit version) with default settings, except I checked the installation for all users.
Has somebody experience with this kind of problem or other ideas to test?

It looks for me, that I have to buy the full halion 2 version, that is working as VST-Plugin too.

Can you load this VST in another VST host?

I am sending you the latest version to try, in case it is working better

thank you for your help
I tried vsthost an the new VA2 version.
Halion Sonic SE is not working, only in Cubase.
I wait for an answer from Steinberg to be shure.

I got the reply from Steinberg today.
Halion SE is only working in Cubase. It's not a VST-Plugin.
Halion 2 or Halion 5 is needed for this.
