Can you link a sound to a variation, so that as you change the variations,  the Right Sounds will change too??

Yes !

Before, you have to understand a cool feature of vArranger : the MY SOUNDS bar

Simply drag and drop some of your sounds from the right vertical list to the MY SOUNDS bar.
Or right click on a sound and ADD TO MY SOUNDS.

This way, you can add up to 10 of your favorites sounds into this bar.

When you save the SONG, you can check the MY SOUNDS box. This way you can save your 10 favorites sounds for every style.

On top left of this bar, there is a LINK button. If checked, when you change variations 1 2 3 4, the sounds 1 2 3 4 from the MY SOUNDS bars will be selected.

Yes, I can see that being a great help.

I had a good couple of hours playing around today, I used a Yamaha MM6 synth as the input and the output with the keyboard local off setting, and with the Tyros styles it sounded immense ;)

Please confirm that the MY SOUNDS only apply to STYLE playing and not midi file/karaoke playing?

Yes, the My sounds bar can be saved for every style and mp3, but no midifile.

Also, everytime you close vArranger, it saves your latest MY SOUNDS bar, and will load it again when you run vArranger
