I can't seem to save left 2.  I am not sure if it is implemented or not.  Also, my mod wheel does not change Leslie speed and I don't see the controller under options.

Dan

what is the sound name written in the LEFT (master) section.

If it is (BY STYLE) , left 1 and left 2 are saved with the song. This option will load the Left1/2 (LOWERS) written from the Ketron style.

If it is another sound name, you have to load that sound in the RIGHT section, change it, save it, then select it for the LEFT.

The pitchbend and modulation wheels change only the RIGHT sound. If you have a drawbar sound on it, it will change his Leslie speed.

I am saving to a regular Ketron Style called Orch Slow.  I add the L2 voice(Digistrings) and save song.  When I hit save, the L2 sound disappears from the track.

As far as being able to control Leslie speed in left hand, is there any way to add a controller for a momentary switch pedal, or anything ?  I play a lot of left hand organ with my sounds.

Dan

You have 2 options to save LEFT sounds.

- The first one is to use the lowers of the style
Just click on the LEFT (master) track, and on top of the sound groups (PIANO, E.PIANO...) , click on BY STYLE.
Then you will able to save Left1/2 into the style.
Every Style's Main variations own it's Left1 and Left2 sound.

- The second option would be to create a new sound in the Right section, and then assign it to the LEFT. This will let the same sound for all variations.

For your second question. I will se what I can do...

Thank you for your prompt reply and consideration.  It sounds like I would want to put my L2 sound in one of the Right tracks.  Now, if I can figure out how to assign it to the L2 track.  The other thing that comes to mind is which controller would change the volume.

I am working on a set up for my band.  I don't need a style at all.  I want drawbars and strings on my left, and be able to control the volumes and Leslie speed.

Dan

OK !

I start to understand. to do that :

- Click on the RIGHT(master) track
- Select the drawbars sound that you like. You will also see it displayed in the RIGHT 1 track.
- Click on the Right 2 track, and select your Strings sound that you like.
- Adjust the volumes, and others things.
- SAVE SOUND. name it for example as DRW+STRINGS. You just created a new sound ! now you can use it for the Right or the left hand if you want.
- Drag & drop this sound to the MY SOUND bar, if you want to use it very often.
- select the LEFT(master) track, and select the sound you just created.
=> DONE

If you want to change the volume of the global left sound, then assign a fader to the LEFT VOLUME.  If you want to manually add more strings sometimes on the left sound, then assign the LEFT 2 VOLUME = TRACK 10 VOLUME

Just experiment every points here, and you will understand by yourself.

Thanks for your patience, Dan.  I should be okay now.

Being able to create "User Sounds" adds a whole new dimension to the program.  WOW, even I am excited now.

Way to go Dan

Dan

Yes, this is one amazing feature in vArranger ! It is so easy to create beautiful new sounds.

Everyone loves it, and me too :)

you don't need to be smart to do it :) as on hardware synths with so many menus

here, everything is in right in front of your eyes.
