Ok, it's been several years since I
Last used my varranger.  I bought a new 16 inch touchscreen HP laptop to
use with vArranger. I need some instructions to help me connect my
SD2 to my midi keyboard and the laptop
any help will be greatly appreciated. I am now 84 years old and stll play gigs and I need to lighten the load wnen I play my gigs.

Thanks
Deane

Hardware connection:
The Ketron SD2 has no USB socket, so you need a USB to MIDI cable to connect your laptop to the sound module.

If your keyboard has a USB socket, you can connect it to your computer with a USB cable, if it only has MIDI socket, you can also use a USB to MIDI cable.

Software connection:
In vArranger, set MIDI IN to your keyboard and MIDI OUT to SD2.

Thank you v.muller. This will help me a lot.

Ok, I'm still not getting it right.
My setup is a Ketron SD2 Module, a Roland A-800 Pro keyboard, and
a Windows computer.  Can't believe I have forgotten how to wire
it all up so it works. IK have all the cables.

Roland A-800 Pro keyboard has a USB socket so you can connect the keyboard to your computer using a USB cable. (the same cable used to connect the printer)

If I'm correct, your problem might be a missing USB driver for your computer.

Try to install this one (A-PRO Driver):
