license key still required on a different device

I have the latest vArranger version installed on my PC with it's USB dongle, I found trying to run vArranger with cuebase simultaneously created too many clashes with midi ins/outs etc, so I tried installing vArranger on a laptop with a midi interface to keep vArranger isolated from the PC, I created a new folder on the laptop with all the data from the USB dongle on it, and plugged the USB dongle into the laptop so the vArranger software would 'see it' - when trying to exe vArranger from the USB dongle I get a message 'this software cannot be run without a license key' - unless I'm missing something, the feature of vArranger was with it's USB dongle and installed files you can use any device to use vArranger on any PC/laptop ?

Sorted - after adding the necessary files into the laptop I went back to the downloads for the purchased latest version and added the file License.reg onto the laptop - then after the activation of that file on the laptop I can now use vArranger when I simply plug the USB 'key' on either the laptop or PC.
