Is this possible??
I want to record the output of VArranger into Sonar Platinum.
I want to set up 6 channels to record at the same time.
Channels 1 & 2 would be The internal Sound Fonts for Drums and Percussion.
3 & 4 would be a Ketron SD1 for the Accompanying Voices
5 would be Roland 06 Bass
6 would be Roland 06 Pad

The idea of this set up is for being able to adjust the mix of the audio tracks later, rather than having 1 stereo recording of all the parts together.

So I think I can set up the different channels to output them in the correct way, BUT..... can I then save that set up so that when I call up a style the parts obey my setup and don't default to how it was before I made the output changes

Just a follow up on my little project.
I have installed a Roland Studio Capture audio interface that gives me 10 simultaneous recording channels into Cakewalk Sonar.
So, using 2 computers, I can record VArranger as follows:-
Tracks 1 & 2 Midi Out 1 Internal Sound Bank for Drums
Tracks 3 & 4 Midi Out 2 Ketron SD1 for all of the Accompaniment Voices
Track 5 Midi Out 3 Separate Roland 06 Keyboard For Bass.

Setting VArranger up with the correct midi outputs for the different channels and Saving "Start Up" memorizes the configuration for when I call up a different style.
It works perfectly for most of of the styles that I have on board. (some Ketron styles sound weird, and sometimes the Bass Patch number has a Bank Number that the Roland Keyboard doesn't pick up)

The great thing about this set up is that I can record a song and adjust the mix between the drums, bass and the accompany section afterwards, but the most useful thing is that I can replace the repetitive Bass Patterns with a Real Bass Guitar or a Manual input from a keyboard with a Bass sound selected.

I am using the other 5 inputs for Vocals, Guitars and a Roland BK9 Keyboard.
