Tip : How to order Songs/Styles?

After you created your song folders and put all your song files into it, tuned the songs like you want...

You may want to order them.

The default Sorting is by name A-Z

If before every song name you add a song number like this : 

(000)Jazz.pat   
(005)Bossanova.pat
(010)AutumnLeaves.pat
...

Then, you will get the songs in the order you want, and it will be easy to change the order later.

Note that thoses numbers will not be displaying in vArranger.

That's fine, but I am getting .pat 1 and 2 of every title.  One is like 15KB and the other is about 1KB.  I assumed that this was a config file, but it messy to keep two of each.

mmm... you are right, you have to rename both of them, then same number.

The reason I did 2 files it because I didn't want to edit the Ketron pattern destructively. You always keep the original file, and all the editings are on the second file.

Maybe we will create a new style format, mixing the 2 files.

Hi Dan,
I prefer if a new file format was used to combine style and parameters and leave orginal style untouched because sometimes you changed instruments and whatnot and never remember the orginal. A single file to represent song and style and I agree with Bernie too messy with 2.
