sd1000 percussion

Hi Dan I sent you a message don't know if it worked, so i'll set up a topic in case. I have an sd2 and a sd1000. the sd2 styles work perfectly. the sd1000 has an instrument sound on the percussion channel. When i change the patch on channel 9 it just changes the sound of the instrument. I have not done the software update for the sd1000.  On another topic My issue is always trying to use an arranger with the chord template program. For example If i was to play chords on a keyboard triggering my ms40 what data is being sent. If i was to use the chord template program  same chords, is it the same data being sent. Can the chord template program be used to imitate me playing chords. Has anyone tried the sd40 with varranger

yes I am and I get the sound of a piano playing in the percussion channel. I reset nothing happenned and I downloaded the latest software update

If it is not working, maybe you need to update SD1000 firmware
