Hi,

One french vArranger user (LouGuit) wanted to use his Ketron FS13 pedalboard with vArranger.
Here what he did :

- He opened the pedal. Here is the wiring diagram :

- He ordered this small circuit (12 switchs max)

- He did the soldering

Now his pedalboard is recognized by windows as a USB HID Joystick

The new vArranger Joystick support permit him to use it like any Midi controller.

I don't know if you can do the same with Roland FC7 pedal.

He is one innovative man, that's for sure.  That is way above my ability.  I, also, need my switch for my Roland so I wouldn't tear it up.

Please explain what a joystick or ketron pedal could control.  I have always used pedals for hands free playing, but want to know what your idea is.

Dan

I personnaly use only one pedal for fill in :)

Hi Chaps (Ladies if any) :P

We use triple pedal setup on our keyboard (Part of our keyboard setup) which is linked to Variation, A-B-C  when pressed does a fill and changes to variation selected.

Works beautifully.

Except it will now be different because we have added a Roland PCR800 and will be selling the Casio.

Hopefully the Roland will live to my expectations.

It has 50 midi assignable controllers, which of course will find it use in vArranger.
Hope to get it before week-end. Where it will get its use the very next day.

Anybody else have one or hopefully good knowledge about it

Hi Lionel
That is the controller I almost bought.  The keybed on a Roland is the best, and with 50 slots, you will have it made.  My Axiom doesn't have as many and the feel is not as good, but I can't justify another keyboard yet.

Let us know how it does.

It can be very usefull !!! It is a PC Switch Pedal and come
with software to define taster for each pedal.

If you use a joystick, maybe, but not the Ketron FS6/FS13
