Assigning controllers question

My midi thing is an Axiom 49 and I have assigned midi controllers to various buttons with success however here comes the strange part.  I have a total of 23 buttons on the Axiom that are midi data out assignable and out of the 23, 17 are assigned and working correctly.  The last 6 that I want to assign functions to do send midi data to varranger fine as the midi data shows in the midi monitor window and it will let me record it to a function, but when I press any one of the buttons while playing varranger, nothing happens.  All the rest of my assigned buttons work fine.  Any one else ever experience something like this?  Vic in Chicago.

Ok, let's talk only about one of the not working buttons.

- What function is assignated?
- What midi message is in this line?

- When you press /release the button, what midi messages are sent (in the bottom , midi monitor.)

Maybe multiple messages?

Hi Dan and thanks for the quick reply.  Here is a screenshot of me pressing a button 3 times and assigning it to fade in fade out.

Ok , I see.

Can you edit your M-AUDIO Keyboard, so those buttons does not send Value 0, but any other value 1 to 127.

Value 0 is usually reserved to buttons un-pressed, and is bypassed by vArranger
