Avec la v0.92, ceux qui jouent avec un batteur vont se réjouir à l'idée de pouvoir facilement envoyer le "kick" dans son retour ...

Bravo DAN...

Dan

mmm, yes... you can use the second midi out to send only the drums track to the drummer by a second midi module.

Nice idea

Hi Dan,
I actually thought that was what you ware going to do, that is each track/instrument has the option of going to Output1 or Output 2

That would allow greater flexibilty to get best sound required for each track/instrument

Much the same as the input variations. So therefore you could send your drums and bass and guitar to Output 2 and the others to output 1.

Output 1 is sent to SD2 and Output 2 is sent to another module like SD4 or to VST module

Lionel

Dan

I thought to do more than that :

Each track can be sent to the Output 1 or the Output 2 or the 2 outputs together...

Does this mean I can now use my Nord Electro in addition to the vArranger program ? I wanted to control chord input with either.

Dan

No, but with the midi keyboard play the SD2 sounds + Nord Electro sounds

Hey, better than before.  Thanks Dan

Now 2 gigs testing the 0.92 version :)

Here is a picture I took from yesterday night :)

I had to take train a go far to gig. The local sound man give me a Roland Juno keyboard, that I used only like a midi keyboard, and I took on my luggages a very cheap and lightweight 49 keys CME usb keyboard.

It was interresting that I was able to assign some of the Roland buttons to control the sound change on vArranger.

I really enjoyed playing with 2 keyboards with just one midi module, and a computer, at this level of sound quality and the amazing arranger on a big 4000Watt speakers system !  ::)

I had a similiar feeling playing music like on My Ketron SD1. forgetting that it's was a software on a PC :)

vArranger makes the musician life easier.

I will send you the next version soon :)

Life as a Muso ??? :'( 8) ;D >:( :-\ :) ;)

Couldn't help noticing your floor pedals look like mouse controls.

Does the SD2 have precedent over SD4 or was it just convenience for this gig.

Yes dual keyboards is the thing for a lot of people, as for me its identical keyboard, midiguitar.

Saw James morrison concert last night, man he is good, his quartet did a song at 400 beats a minute yes 4 big hundred beats a minute. Whew! :o

Looking forward for next version.

Lionel

Dan

ha ha, yes mouses on the floor :) This is lightweight 5$ sustain pedals. (not so good to use)
My SD4 is now to the repair man. I am waiting for news. So, always my good SD2.

Dan

Because of the huge demand on the version 0.92, I just released it :)

The link is the same as usual.

Be carefull to read the first message of this post (you have to install the new microsoft update)

Enjoy !!!

Hi Dan,
Runs like a dream

Only problem is I get SD2 crashes but SD4 fine, not all the time just here and there.

Another thing, how do I stop the yamaha styles defaulting to it's internal values after I change volume. It just returns to it's
original volume after a few seconds.

Otherwise it is great.

Man we are on a roll or rather vArranger is on a roll.

Thanks Dan

Lionel

Dan

Hi Lionel,

Are your sure that the midi output where the Ketrn SD2 is plugged, is defined as KETRON SD2 on the midi port page?  the GM2 mode doesn't own the Ketron crashing protection.

I just added the saving of the volume in the memory for the next version (yamaha styles)
